Transform tools – Move

Usage
  • This tool allows you to move selected layers or arrange layers into selected order. This tool is also able to cut and move selection (under specific conditions). You can also use additional settings for more precise control. 

How to use
  • To use the move tool, press and hold left mouse button (inside image area) and move the mouse over the image. Selected layers will follow mouse movements. Release left mouse button.  

  • The move tool also has “cut and move” feature. This feature can be used when only one layer is selected and image has some selected area. Position mouse cursor over selected area. If all conditions are met then cursor should change to “black arrow with scissor”. Press and hold left mouse button and move the mouse over the image. Selected area with its content will follow mouse movements. Release left mouse button.  

  • If case you need align selected layers then press one of the following buttons 5,6,7,8,9,10 (see below). 

Notes
  • At least one layer has to be selected. 

  • Align buttons are enabled only if two or more layers are selected. 

Tool settings

 

  1. 1.Sets position of the anchor point. Boxes represents corners, edges and center. Selected anchor has black color. 

  2. 2.Enables “delta” mode. When this mode is enabled then position displayed in edit boxes 3, 4, is relative from original position. 

  3. 3.Displays or defines position of the anchor point from the left side of the image. 

  4. 4.Displays or defines position of the anchor point from the top side of the image. 

  5. 5.Align layers by their left edges. 

  6. 6.Align layers by their vertical centers. 

  7. 7.Align layers by their right edges. 

  8. 8.Align layers by their top edges. 

  9. 9.Align layers by their horizontal centers. 

  10. 10.Align layers by their bottom edges.
